One recent project that truly resonated with our values was working with St Stephen’s Church in Colchester to upgrade their kitchen facilities. We’re thrilled to share their story and how our collaboration has brought new possibilities to this vibrant community hub.
The Need for Change
St Stephen’s Church is more than a place of worship; it’s a cornerstone of the Colchester community, hosting events like Kids Club, Café Church, and the Hub Café, which features Knit and Natter, Lego Club, and even Warhammer gatherings. Over time, their gas cooker had become increasingly unreliable, and despite multiple repair attempts, it was clear that a modern solution was needed to continue supporting their outreach activities.
The Marigold Engineers Solution
After assessing their needs and exploring the options, our team installed two brand-new electric ovens to replace the aging gas cooker. These state-of-the-art appliances are efficient, reliable, and perfectly suited to the church’s diverse needs—from preparing meals for community events to supporting their mission of hospitality.
Eco-Friendly and Future-Ready
One of the standout benefits of the new electric ovens is their alignment with St Stephen’s commitment to sustainability. Moving away from fossil fuels is part of the church’s broader eco-friendly initiative, making this upgrade a step towards a greener future.
